TravelReady Guide

Editorial process

Data Methodology

TravelReady Guide focuses on practical travel facts that are useful before departure: power plugs, voltage, emergency numbers, tap water safety, tipping norms, best seasons and visa basics.

Source selection

We prefer public, authoritative references such as government portals, national tourism boards, emergency-number references and the IEC World Plugs database. When a country page uses a broader public reference, the source is linked directly on that page.

Review process

Each country page displays a last-updated date. Stable facts such as plug type and voltage are reviewed periodically, while time-sensitive details such as visa rules are presented as a summary and should be verified with official authorities before travel.

What we do not do

We do not scrape reviews, ratings or copyrighted content from other sites, and we do not auto-generate filler pages. Every country page is built from verifiable public facts and organized into our own templates and explanations. A country is only published once its core fields and sources are complete, so we would rather have fewer thorough pages than many thin ones.

Independence

TravelReady Guide is an independent reference site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government, embassy, airline or travel agency. For official entry and visa decisions, always treat the relevant government authority as the final source.

Corrections

If you find an error or a better official source, contact us through the Contact page. We prioritize corrections that affect safety, entry requirements, emergency contacts or electrical compatibility.
